The Hungarian Museum of Transport has published the Hungarian edition of Jeff Speck world-wide famous urban planner's book - Walkable City Rules: 101 Steps to Making Better Places.
The work of an internationally renowned urban planning specialist can be broken down into simple steps to show how we can get closer and closer to creating a friendly, attractive, humane environment when shaping urban living space.
With the success books of Walkable City and Suburban Nation, Jeff Speck has become one of the most influential urban planners living today.
He has performed in 40 U.S. states and six continents, with TED Talks and YouTube videos watched more than three million times. Jeff Speck is the former Director of Planning at National Endowment for the Arts, now Head of Speck & Associates, a design firm serving municipal and individual clients.
His internationally successful book, Walkable City Rules: 101 Steps to Making Better Places was published in Hungarian as „101 szabály az élhető városért”, in November 2020, by the Hungarian Museum of Technology and Transport, with the support of the Centre for Development of Active and Ecotourism.
